The place was great! I’ve at many German dinners all over the us and Germany. I’d say this place is a great one! The service was superior, the food was made to order and tasted very authentic. I suggest anyone try this place out. I would bring my family back anytime. We had the stone arch schnitzel, chicken wrap fish fry and chicken pretzel sandwich with scotch eggs.

Fantastic German ? (their beer cheese sauce was the best! - ordered extra!) and my Mango Ahi salad was the best flavored ahi I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked. Maurisa’s service at the bar (and all the other staff we saw) was also great, even though the place was packed. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Love eating here. They have some of the BEST fries I've had. Sometime about the seasoning on them. It's very different but so so good.
Everyone had a great meal tonight. Want to say it was a mahi BLT that a few got and really enjoyed. I had a grilled chicken wrap. Salad my sister got was good, etc. We've gotten the pizza and burgers as well before, always good food.

Very nice waitress & no issues getting refills.

I’ve been here a couple times and every time is great. The cheese curds and scotch eggs are great appetizers. They had a swordfish special with mango salsa which tasted very fresh. The prices are very reasonable and the dining room is like being in a dungeon. (in a cool way)

Super disappointed with our most recent visit to Stone Arch. This used to be one of our go to dinner spots, but sadly that will no longer be the case. We went on a Sunday night around 630 and there were only 5 occupied tables…probably should have taken that as a sign.

Our appetizer of the nachos were overcooked and probably 25% of the chips had nothing on them. The fish and chips had apparently been “changed” from cod filets to a giant filet of something, which was disgusting. It was soggy, flavorless, and disappointing compared to how they “used” to be. The only positive was the tartar sauce was perfect as usual.

My husband ordered the fish tacos and the chunks of breaded fish resembled giant mozzarella sticks. It had no flavor and was also very disappointing compared to past visits.

The waitress came to ask how it was, and I was honest saying we were disappointed with everything. She went to talk to a “manager” close by and we heard the conversation of the manager asking if we wanted something different which we did not. The waitress came back saying the manager said they’d comp our bill, and could fill out the comment card versus coming to talk to us. Never heard back in regards to the comment card and leaving our info.

Stopped for lunch on the way home from Madison. Salad was just what I needed after a weekend of drinking and deep fried food. My husband and I sat at the bar where service was fast and friendly. Beer flights were available so of course that was what I ordered along with a delish salad. They also had a house vinaigrette made with their IPA that finished the salad perfectly. My husband got the Cesar salad - a classic. It was definitely enough for lunch! We are sure to return for lunch and flights soon.

The Tap Room houses live music every Tuesday at 7pm. I advise people to arrive before 6 if you would like a decent seat/table, as the room tends to fill up fairly quickly. The musicians and genres vary. They may be local or national acts. There is a cover charge for the listening sessions, usually $10 unless otherwise posted. It can get VERY loud, as it only accommodates less than 80 people.

They also serve a variety of food, from specials, to pizza, appetizers, burgers (typical pub grub), etc. And since this is also a brewery, don't forget to try some new ales, or stouts, or a mixed drink if that's what you prefer.

I always have a great time when I come out here! I hope to see you out here soon!
