Bardzo miła obsług ale trochę wolni, wypożyczyłem dwa razy auto pierwszy raz BMW lecz ktoś uderzył mi zderzak całą akcją poszła gładko i prosto drugi raz wypożyczyłem suv a dostałem vana tego się nie spodziewałem ale co zrobić

We completed the delivery and I purchased insurance for 170 Cad. Even though my Mastercard had rental insurance they insisted we needed one from carent24. I did not get a receipt for this policy I was sold and the details to what it covered. They took a deposit of 2750 zl which is about 1000 Cad. Used my Mastercard to pay for everything. Paid for a rental , 2 car seats for kids, and wifi hotspot. Included was also the cleaning afterwards. The child seats were not installed in the vehicle. One seat was missing important safety straps so our 1 year old was always minimally strapped. We never did a vehicle inspection. Tired from a 9 hour flight with 2 kids that was the last thing on our mind to check rental for damage. The team from carent24 were very professional the whole time except they left us in the parking lot of the airport with a unpaid parking ticket. We were on our way out and we had to run back to machine with cars honking to get out. Called the rep and he said we will be credited at the end of rental. Got to hotel and I realised I need to check the car for damage. Immediately I found damage on back bumper which was really bad. I took pictures and called carent24. Advisor asked if its inside the trunk and told me not to worry because that is normal wear and tear. I told him its outside and he was surprised. I sent the pictures and enjoyed the rest of the vacation. During the remainder of the trip I hand washed the vehicle 3 times inside and out. I really took care of the rental. Even put tire shine on!!!. The carent24 rep contacted me a day before to remind me of the return. We filled up the gas tank and waited for the rep at the airport. The carent24 rep showed up and did a quick inspection. We were told everything was good and that they will contact us if there is anything wrong. A week passed and I decided to give them a call and find out why my 1000 Cad was not refunded on my credit card. They said they need my bank account info so they can transfer me the refund. Nobody said anything yet about them keeping my deposit. I argued that they took my money from my credit card so they need to refund it there but I was told they need to do it because of company policy. After being shuffled back and forth between Krakow head office and warsaw reps finally the head office told me they will send me a return report. This is 2 weeks after i returned the car. I was told I was getting 250 zl back for interior damages this point. I asked if they cleaned the car and I was told they only vacuum and that is it. The dirt stains and baby food stains on seats will cost 500 zl to clean. The trunk panel that was already scuffed from previous rentals will need to be replaced at a cost of 1750 zl. I did dirty and maybe scuff it more with our stroller but I did not think of it as any trouble since the rep advised me that it's not a problem. I rented cars from hundreds of rental companies and they consider trunk scuffs wear and tear since it's always in and out with suitcases. Car rental companies also purchase protection insurance when they lease vehicles so that small scuffs in trunk and interior are covered. When I tried calling in and asking for receipts for panels I was told I need to talk to the owner. They made it seem like everyone is on the same page and they are only following protocol. I consider me and my family of 2 kids (3 and 1 year old ) taken advantage of as tourists. From the very beginning of the rental to the end we were mistreated and ripped off. I do not recommend this company to anyone coming in from another country. You will be scammed for every penny possible. Be very cautious with booking with carent24.pl. I will be taking things further and contacting a lawyer because this is a scam.
